You can order a cake in three ways:

  1. By phone: 508 644 053 (phone contact only during the confectionery shop’s opening hours 10am-7pm).
  2. Through the confectionery shop’s website
  3. Directly at the Gladem Cakes confectionery shop from Monday to Sunday during opening hours 10am-7pm. The premises are located at Białobrzeska 15 in Warsaw.

What information should I provide?

  1. Pickup date and time.
  2. Number of people (this will help estimate the final weight of the cake).
  3. Flavor (please let us know in advance if you are allergic to a specific ingredient).
  4. Photo of the cake  or your own inspiration.
  5. Inscription, edible print – if we do it, what kind?

You will receive an estimated weight and price for your cake in return. Occasionally, a cake may be slightly heavier than anticipated due to its artistic nature. After discussing the details, please pay a deposit at the bakery or via bank transfer, which is a condition of accepting your order.

It’s best to transport the cake by car, placing it on a flat surface in the trunk or in front of/behind a seat. The optimal transport time for the cake is a maximum of 1 hour (without refrigeration). During transport, avoid sudden braking and avoid placing it on your lap or on angled seats.

Once the cake has arrived at its destination, it should be stored (in its box) in a refrigerator or cold store, where the temperature is between 3 and 6 degrees Celsius. If there isn’t enough space in the refrigerator to store the cake in the box, remove any strongly scented items (sausages, blue cheese, etc.). The cake should also not be stored in a freezer, garage, or on a balcony.

To cut the cake, use a sharp knife dipped in hot water. Below are step-by-step instructions for cutting the cake:

  1. Cut the cake by starting from the center with the tip of the knife and moving it outward to the edge.
  2. Do not cut the cake by pressing down with the entire surface of the knife.
  3. After each slice, dip the knife back in hot water and dry it with a cloth.
  4. Serve the sliced cake using a serving spoon.

Cakes with decorative elements:

  1. Live flowers: Before serving, remove all flowers, paying attention to the elements to which they were attached (wires, wooden sticks).
  2. Sugar figures: Before serving, remove the figure from the cake. Often, the figure is attached with a wooden stick, which also needs to be removed.

Multi-tiered cakes:

  1. Each tier is separated by a non-edible base with supports (straws, wooden sticks). After cutting the upper tier, remove the base and all other elements.
  2. Cakes with fondant should be cut immediately after removing from the refrigerator (immediately before serving). For cakes with cream filling, remove them from the refrigerator approximately 10-15 minutes before serving.

At our bakery, we accept both card and cash payments. Direct transfer to our bank account is also available.

In our bakery, we specialize in artistic cakes, and it can sometimes be difficult to estimate the exact weight of a cake down to the gram. This is due to the artistic nature of the cake and the weight of some of the toppings you’ve chosen.

Our studio specializes in creating artistic cakes. Depending on the complexity of the cake, reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance. In special cases, it is possible to order a cake 2-3 days in advance if we have availability.

Our cakes are works of art, so we sometimes use non-edible materials (ribbons, fresh flowers, toothpicks, wire, plastic figurines). Upon receipt, you will always be informed of any non-edible elements.

It is possible to order a cake on the same day – just call us and ask if this is possible.

It is possible to deliver the cake for a fee after prior telephone contact and discussion of the transport details.

Our offer includes the possibility of ordering gluten-free and vegetarian cakes, as well as all baked goods that are free of allergens (eggs, nuts, sugar, etc.).
